I am Prof. V. Narayanan Namboothiri, an economics scholar, educator, and eco-innovation researcher from Kerala. With a career spanning 49 years, I have contributed to sustainable development through indigenous technology, experiential research, and social education.
As a teacher, researcher, and innovator, I have developed 28+ indigenous machines, pioneered the philosophy of “Use of the Used”, and empowered thousands of students, rural communities, and entrepreneurs through training programmes, workshops, and awareness initiatives. My work emphasizes low-cost eco-friendly technology that converts waste into value and supports sustainability.
