Like any society, hard work is the backbone in ensuring that everything can continue smoothly. In Solara Veil, there are actually a lot of work opportunities for those who are willing to work. The Town wants more Solarans to come and settle into the town, find work, and support the Town's struggling economy.
Like most settlements across the regions, Solara Veil has its own Guild Row to support Guild Work, but the town is also offering Properties to new Solarans in hopes of starting new Ranches and Farms. There are also a fair number of vacant storefronts that are waiting for prospective Business Owners to come and add new Businesses to the Town's Records. With these new Farms, Ranches, and Businesses come the possibilities of hiring help to support such Farm Work, Ranch Work, or Business Work.
Ranch Work relates to all work done on a Ranch, either by the Rancher or their Hired Help of various roles
See the Desert Dawn News for Classifieds.
Farm Work relates to all work done on a Farm, either by the Farmer or their Hired Help of various roles
See the Desert Dawn News for Classifieds.
Business Work relates to all work done related to a Business, either by the Business Owner or their Business Employees
See the Desert Dawn News for Classifieds.
Guild Work relates to all work done related to either Guild, specifically by Guilders.
There are two Guilds in Solara Veil:
Town Work relates to Occupations concerning civil services and establishments provided and maintained by the Town of Solara Veil (such as the Fire Brigade, Sunstone Moisture Farm or Desert Bloom Ranch).
There is also the Sheriff's Office and Prison, for anyone interested in becoming Law Enforcement.
Note These are considered separate from the Businesses that Solarans can register themselves but operate the same - see the Local Businesses page for more details.
Bandit Work relates to all work related to unlawful Occupations, such as the work done by Outlaws. Such unlawful individuals can refer to the Bandit's Lair to find how to earn a dishonest living.

To claim an open Storefront, Town Work or Guild Work, members must make a Reservation in order to claim an Occupation for their Altermew (character). This includes both Newcomers AND Members already accepted into the group.
Note If you're already a Member, you must have already Purchased your Move-In Key (next Character Slot) BEFORE you may Reserve an Occupation.
The member sends an Occupation Reservation via the drop-down menu found in the Submit Mail channel on the Discord server. This will open a pop-up form to fill out.
In the form, the member must provide which Occupation role they are wishing to Reserve and for which Character.
Occupations can be chosen from the open slots from the Occupations List- check for availability before you post, because Occupations are first come, first served!
Once the form is complete, click the Submit button. This will create a Private Mail channel with the information that you have provided.
Wait for a mod to respond to your Reservation and confirm your Reservation Time, which is 2 Weeks in length. Once you get that confirmation, good luck!
You have 2 Weeks to complete and submit your application, or else the Reservation will expire! You may request for an extension of 1 Week, if required.
If a Reservation expires, another member can claim the Occupation role to plan accordingly!
Note Reservations are First Come First Served! Members can only have one active Reservation at a time.
Note Guild positions have No Limit in how many characters join their ranks, however Businesses do.
Note Town Work Occupations, such as the Sheriff's Office, the Research Center, or the Fire Brigade, are limited, but more positions may become available as the town grows and prospers.
Tired of the grind? Dreaming of pursing a different venture? Are you an accountant dreaming of being a Pyroar tamer?
Well fear not! It's totally possible for a Solaran to change Occupations, but there is a cost... Why? Well, changing Occupations is a bit life decision, so some sacrifices might be made.
Spending time and Coins in one Occupation does not mean that a Solaran can transfer all of those skills and infrastructure to their new profession.
Note A Solaran (character) may only change Occupations once for free (not including other fees required for the job change), so choose wisely! Every other change costs 50 coins plus the required fees.
