As the saying goes: nothing in life is free, and that certainly goes for everyday life in Solara Veil. Hard work and by the sweat of one's brow means that food gets put on the table, and in order to buy more means money.
In the universe of Solara Veil, the currency is Coins - these aren't real gold coins, just old coins collected together from the Bygone Age that have been repurposed. Coins are imperative for anyone wanting to buy... well, anything. Sure, some folks might let you work a day for them in exchange for a night's room and a hot meal, but any stores will only accept Coins in exchange for goods.
How to do that exactly? There are a few ways to earn Coins and a few things to spend them on too!
Everyday Submissions - this includes anything from Characters chatting with one another to gorgeous sceneries, what a Character's House looks like to Companion references. Basically, anything that isn't related to an Event, Adventures, or Heart Event. These Submissions are submitted via the General Submission ticket,
Occupation Submissions - this includes anything relating to a character's Occupation, which can be Ranch Work, Farm Work, owning and managing a Business Work, Guild Work, or anything else that relates to earning an honest (or dishonest) day's work.
Adventure Submissions - these are depictions of what happens while a Character(s) is out exploring the Sunswept Wastes. These are technically Occupation Submissions, and therefore would be submitted via the Occupation Submission ticket,
Event Submissions - these are depictions of the ongoing Event. Can only be submitted for Event bonuses DURING to stated timeframe
Heart Event Submissions - these are depictions of Heart Events. For more details, see the Love Life page.
Interaction Evidence - these are Submissions that depict a Character being used in some capacity and are crucial for purchasing more Character Slots, House Renovations, or Heart Events. These can be Everyday, Occupation, Adventure or NSFW Submissions.
Interaction Evidence cannot be used more than once, which means the same Submission cannot be used as both a Heart Event and to purchase a Character Slot.
Note Doodles used as Interaction Evidence can only be Everyday/NSFW Submissions
The Sunswept Wastes is a dangerous place and Injuries can happen!
When they do, Injuries can, and will, affect Submissions! See here to find out how!

Note Criterion may differ depending on the type of Submission and/or Event!
Note When creating Submissions, especially Visual Submissions, BE MINDFUL OF THE GROUP'S AESTHETICS! Solara Veil is set in the vast desert of the Sunswept Wastes, so depictions are expected to match this environment!
For inspiration, see our Pinterest Boards!
May be used for textures and details.
May be a part of background elements, as long as they're not overwhelmingly or heavily used.
May be used sparingly as background elements and/or for references to hand-draw from. Smaller ones are okay, but larger elements may disqualify the background for Coins.
Too much! We want to see hand-drawn elements!
