Ah... the pitter-patter of little feet across the floor... No, it's not Rattata, it's Children!
Having and raising a Child can be one of life's most rewarding adventures! The joy of a Child's smile, the sound of their laughter filling a home, and the trouble that they get into with or without the watchful eyes of a Parent.
But how does it happen? How does an Altermew have a Child?
Well... there are a few options depending on the person and their situation.

To create a Child the "old fashioned way," two members must agree beforehand that a possible Conception will take place due to their "joint activities"... aka sex. Marriage isn't a requirement for Conception, and the Conception itself can be planned or accidental.
Members are encouraged to be creative, as long as the Conception abides by the Rules. This means absolutely no reference or depictions of Sexual Assault (SA) in any capacity! Solara Veil is 18+ so yes, sex can happen, but by consent only! All Pregnancies that occur between characters are done through the joint consent of all members involved, even if the Pregnancy is an "accident" for headcanon sake.
As for how a Conception happens, the actual act is up for member interpretation, but in order for the sex to result in Pregnancy there are a few guidelines to follow - see below.

There are a few ways to create a Pregnancy (and no, I'm not talking about positions)!
How you might be asking?
Well... it really depends on YOU and the situation that your Character(s) have found themselves in (and if you want them to possibly get into a particularly dramatic situation).
Married Characters

For Characters who are Married and are wanting to conceive and have produced a Conception Submission...
Congratulations!
The chances of Conception are 100%!
You wanted a baby? You GOT a baby!
Romantic Characters
Romantic Characters
For Characters who have gifted/exchanged a Pendant, and are wanting to conceive and have produced a Conception Submission...
The chances of Conception are 50%!
You wanted a baby? You maybe got a baby?!?
If Romantic Characters wish to guarantee a Pregnancy the first time, they may Purchase a Swimmers Support Juice from the Solara Clinic.
Note Both Members must contribute 50/50 towards the Purchase!

For Characters who have found themselves in the heat of the moment, like a one-night stand, and give into their lustful desires...
There are two options for Members who want to incorporate an "accidental pregnancy" into their roleplay dramas, and these can be Purchased from the Solara Clinic.
The Lustful Incense (33% chance of Pregnancy) & the Lustful Liquor (100% chance)
Note These items can be Purchased before the Pregnancy Ticket via a Purchase Ticket or in the Pregnancy Ticket itself.
Note Even though they might be "accidental" in-universe, all Pregnancies can only happen with consent between Members. This is done via both the Conception Submission and that both Members must contribute 50/50 towards the Purchase of an item!

Between Two People
A Submission depicting or relating to the Conception is required for a Pregnancy, with at least one representative of the two sexes present.
This could be two separate pieces, a collaboration, or a RP Record of at least 5,000 words that must be submitted to the Submit Channel of the Discord.
To check what qualifies as a Submission, check the Submissions page. If it is a NSFW Submission, be sure to submit it according in the. NSFW Channel.

A Submission depicting or relating to the Conception is required for a Pregnancy, with at least one representative of the two sexes present.
This could be three separate pieces, a collaboration, or a RP Record of at least 10,000 words that must be submitted to the Submit Channel of the Discord.
To check what qualifies as a Submission, check the Submissions page. If it is a NSFW Submission, be sure to submit it according in the. NSFW Channel.

With the Conception Submission created, it's time to get that Pregnancy started!
The member owning the Expecting character must select Pregnancy from the drop-down menu found in the Submit Mail channel on Discord. This will open a pop-up form to fill out.
In the form, include the names of the Conception characters and the usernames of the members involved. Example:
SushiSheik's Character, Bob Example, and dalobu's Character, Joe Noexist
In the form, provide links to the Pendant Submission(s) and the Conception Submission in the respective sections.
Provide the links to the Storages of all the members involved. Make sure to separate the links so that they are clickable!
Provide the following information:
Note If a Pregnancy Item hasn't been Purchased yet, it may be Purchased now. If one has been Purchased, please state that it will be used to increase the chances of Conception.
State what kind of Pregnancy they would like to take place (if successful): Planned, Random or Combo
Planned means that the members know exactly what they want int terms of sexes, Altermewtations, and how many babies will be born: single, twins or triples.
Random means that members want to be surprised!
Combo means a bit of both - members must explain what they want.
Once all the required information is provided, the Mods will roll the chances of Conception (if applicable).
Once approved, the Pregnancy will officially begin and a Birth Date will be given that is 9 months away.
Congratulations! A character is now Pregnant and the involved characters are now Expecting!
Note There is a limit to ONE set of either twins or triplets per Household via where the Pregnant character lives. This includes those involved in Triad Polyamory Relationships. Keep this in mind when members are planning a Pregnancy!

There's new life on the way! How exciting!
Now that your character is Pregnant, all that stands between them and the Birth is 9 months of waiting when the Birth Date comes! Easy, right? Pregnant characters are welcome to wait the entire length of the Pregnancy, if they want, OR they can pray to a God or Gods to help speed up the Pregnancy.
The choice is yours!
All of the Pregnancy Gods can be Prayed to once per Pregnancy, meaning that a total of 8 Months of Pregnancy can be skipped. If so, then as a minimum all Pregnancies must last at least 1 Month from when the Pregnancy officially began.

The members involved with the Pregnancy must complete a Submission depicting the characters Praying to a Pregnancy God at the Shrine of the Gods that's located in Solstice Park.
The Submission could be two separate pieces, a collaboration, or a RP Record of at least 3,000 words that must be submitted to the Submit Channel of the Discord. To check what qualifies as a Submission, check the Submissions page.
For Triad Polyamory Relationships, a Submission could be three separate pieces, a collaboration, or a RP Record of at least 9,000 words that must be submitted to the Submit Channel of the Discord. To check what qualifies as a Submission, check the Submissions page.
The member owning the Pregnant character must select God Prayer from the drop-down menu found in the Submit Mail channel on Discord. This will open a pop-up form to fill out.
In the form, include the names of the Pregnancy characters and the usernames of the members involved. Example:

In the form, provide link(s) to the Prayer Submission(s) in the respective section(s).
Provide the links to the Storages of all the members involved. Make sure to separate the links so that they are clickable!
The member who sent the form must invite the remainder of the members involved with the Prayer into the Private Mail channel. This can be done by asking for the member(s) to be added to the ticket by a Mod.
Once all members have joined the Private Mail channel, they must do the following:
State what Pregnancy God is being Prayed to: Shaymin, Cosmog, Terrakion, or Victini
Multiple Submissions of Pregnancy Gods being Prayed to can be submitted in the same Private Mail channel, with a total of 4 Prayers or 1 per god.
Once all the required information is provided and approved, the Pregnancy will officially be shortened according to which god(s) was Prayed to and the Birth Date will be updated.
Congratulations! A character is now closer to giving Birth!

Big pregnant bellies are such a nuisance: it's hard to get dressed, your can't see your toes, and RIP your bladder. Whether your character decided to Pray to a couple Pregnancy Gods or wait the full 9 months, eventually that long-awaited Birth Date is right around the corner.
Giving Birth is a beautiful event... but a depiction is not required for a Pregnancy to end.
In order for a baby, or babies, to be born, all that is required of members is to Submit the completed Child NPC's Application on or after the Birth Date. That's is!
Any or all Submissions relating to the Birth are entirely up to members. That said, while Solara Veil is 18+, please refrain from any graphic depictions of Birth.
For Those Wanting To Adopt
For Those Wanting To Adopt
"Well hello there! I'm so glad to see you and thanks for coming to the Rustrock Orphanage! I know that we'll find you your perfect family!"
Single people, couples, Triads, and those in same-sex relationships who wish to be Parents or adopt a Child into their Household!
The train connects Solara Veil with the neighbouring town of Rustrock and is through the train that Adoption is possible! The Town of Rustrock is larger than Solara Veil and supports the Rustrock Orphanage. The Orphanage will only allow Adoptions from a Parent or Parents who are from Solara Veil if the prospective Parent(s) can provide proof of a Train Ticket to ensure that the Child travels safely across the Sunswept Wastes. Mounts are not acceptable.
Once a Train Ticket has been Purchased for 30 Coins, the prospective Parent(s) must journey to Rustrock, meet with the Orphanage Director for an interview, pay the Adoption Fee for 20 Coins, and then meet the children to choose who they'd like to take home!
If everything goes smoothing, soon you'll have a new member of the family to take back home to Solara Veil and officially enter Parenthood!

Note Up to 3 Children can be Adopted at a time, if they are siblings. Children must be aged between 0-16 years old. If multiple Children are being Adopted, an Adoption Fee must be paid per Child.
Step One - Have a Property Address

The prospective Parent(s) must first own a Property in order to qualify for an Adoption. The House must be at least a Fixed House for Single Parents and a Remodelled House for Couples or Triads living together.
Step Two - Purchase a Train Ticket

The prospective Parent(s) who owns the Property where the Adopted Child/Children will be living must Purchase a Train Ticket from the General Store for 30 Coins via a Purchase Ticket. This MUST be done before the Adoption Ticket and cannot be done all in a single ticket. This cost can be split between Couples or Triads.
Step Three - Make the Submissions

With the Train Ticket in the Storage of the prospective Parent(s), 2 Submissions must be created to complete the Adoption.

The prospective Parent(s) must be depicted either sitting down or walking and chatting with the Orphanage Director for the required interview to prove that they are caring, kind, and are looking to provide a Child with a loving home.

The prospective Parent(s) must be depicted interacting in some way with the Orphans in order to get to know them a bit before they choose the one whom they'll be taking home. The depiction can, of course, include the Child/Children who is intended to be Adopted.

✦ Owned Character(s) must be a a minimum of a Full Body depiction, with clean lines, and base colours AND actively interacting with the Orphanage Director and/or Orphans.
✦ Any NPCs must be Full Body depictions.
✦ A background is required, with some distinctive features.

✦ 750 Word minimum stories.
✦ Must describe owned Character actively interacting with the Orphanage Director and/or Orphans and this must be the main focus of the Written Submission.
✦ Roleplays between prospective Parents must be a minimum of 1500 words.
Note NPC inclusions must be substantial inclusions, not just a vague mention or brief one-line cameo.

With the Adoption Submissions created, it's time to complete the Adoption process!
The member owning the Property where the Child will be living must select Adoption from the drop-down menu found in the Submit Mail channel on Discord. This will open a pop-up form to fill out.
In the form, include the names of the character(s) and the username(s) of the members involved in the Adoption as well as restate the Property Address where the Child will be added.
Example: SushiSheik's Character, Bob Example, and dalobu's Character, Joe Noexist located at AB13 - Remodelled House.
In the form, provide links to the 2 Adoption Submissions in the respective sections.
Reaffirm the payment of the Adoption Fee of 20 Coins - can be split between Couples or Triads. If multiple Children are being Adopted at the same time, a Fee must be paid per Child.
Provide the completed Child NPC Application(s) per Child.
Provide the links to the Storages of all the members involved. Make sure to separate the links so that they are clickable!
Once all the required information is provided, the Mods will make sure that all requirements are covered and will review the NPC Application. Please be patient!
Once approved, the Adoption will officially be completed and the prospective Parent(s) now can welcome their new Child home!
Adoption For Outlaws

Outlaws can of course Adopt a Child/Children themselves, but they must do so with deceipt! Outlaws wanting to Adopt must dress-up and pretend to be outstanding citizens of Solara Veil to fool the Orphanage Director!
This means that in the required Adoption Submissions, the Outlaw(s) must be depicted as not their typical rough-and-tough selves and perhaps are even wearing costumes!
All other requirements remain the same, including owning a Living Space that has been updated accordingly.
Note Big Boss Levi tolerates Children, even if he believes that his Lair is not the ideal location for raising a family or nurture Children.. HOWEVER! He DOES NOT tolerate Children being groomed for villainy or being abused or mistreated in ANY WAY. They're Children! Let them be Children.

Just because Children are allowed in Town and in the Bandit's Lair, and that Solara Veil is an 18+ group, any mistreatment of Children IN ANY SITUATION will not be tolerated or allowed by the Mod Team!
Any evidence of this being violated will result in a Stern Warning OR an immediate Strike depending on the circumstance.
