Commission Process
Commissions will be processed through stages. The following are the commission stages:
Conception - The period of time where commissioner and creator discuss the concept and details of the commission. This is the planning stage to lay the work that will need to be done and discuss what the deliverables will be and what the cost to the commissioner will be. Commission details will be discussed through Discord: Vulonsulin#8525.
Alpha Creation - The period of time where the creator will initially develop the deliverables based on the concept and details discussed in conception.
First Pass - The commissioner will be given a viewing and demonstration of the deliverables created during the Alpha Creation stage. This period is used for gathering feedback from the commissioner about issues they notice or minor adjustments they would like to see. If the scope of the changes go beyond the details discussed in the initial conception phase, the commission may be rejected.
Beta Creation - The period of time where the creator makes changes and adjustments requested in the First Pass. This period may be skipped if the commission is acceptable upon First Pass.
Second Pass - The commissioner will be given a second viewing of the deliverables and may make final change requests. Again, if the scope of the changes go beyond the details discussed in the initial concept phase, the commission may be rejected. This period may be skipped if the commission is acceptable upon First Pass.
Gamma Creation - The final period of time where the creator makes final changes and adjustments requested in the Second Pass. This period may be skipped if the commission is acceptable upon First Pass or Second Pass.
Alpha Testing - This period marks the point where the creator will test the deliverable themselves for issues. This may occur at any point in the process, but will at the very least happen after the Gamma Creation stage.
Payment - This period marks the exchange of money from the commissioner to the creator in exchange for the Alpha Tested deliverable.
Beta Testing - This period marks the point where the commissioner is allowed to test the deliverable themselves to note any significant issues not noticed during the First Pass, Second Pass, or Alpha Testing that require correction. If the scope of the changes go beyond the details discussed in the initial conception phase, the changes may be rejected.
Finalization - This marks the last stage for changes to the commission based on necessary changes found in Beta Testing. This stage will see the final deliverable given to the commissioner and marks the end of the commission.
Disclaimers
- All commissions are subject to reuse for future work in whole or in part.
- Finalized commissions will not receive free updates or corrections.
- If a commissioner requests an update for a finalized commissions, a new price will need to be negotiated.
- Completion times are estimated.
- Commissions may be done sooner or later than expected.
- Payment will be received before the commissioner beta testing period, and any necessary corrections will be made before finalization.
- Commissions or changes may be rejected at any stage without a refund of payment if payment has been made if the commission or changes become unreasonable.
