Weekly:

- Office Hours: minimum 2 hours

  • How long does leader training take?

Leader training takes less than a month. Once accepted as a leader, there are 2 training sessions to attend: (1) General Onboarding and (2) Role-specific Training.

The on-board training is general leader training such as accessing computers, navigating where supplies are in the office, understanding other branches, etc. Role specific training will be conducted by someone who is an executive leader in the branch of the position you are in.

  • After leader training, how independent is the work flow?

Although it can be independent, new leaders are required to schedule office hours with seasoned leaders so they are available in case you need assistance. Furthermore, the team is very supportive of new leaders and we have an open forum for discussion. Directors will be there to oversee and guide you during your transition.

  • Will I be able to balance this with school, work, family obligations, etc.?

Most of the leaders are currently enrolled in classes and are employed. We believe it requires time management and organizational skills to be able to balance the workload. Learning how to master these attributes through L-Team will strengthen you as a professional.

  • Can leaders go on LOA?

Leaders may go on LOA up to a month but must provide a detailed plan of coverage to delegate who will provide coverage to stay within good standing.
