Race: Human
Age: Early 30s
Occupation: Itinerant priestess and self-proclaimed prophet
Usual Haunt: Preaches on the outskirts of the shrine grounds; not allowed inside
Appearance: Tall and solemn, draped in sun-bleached robes with a crude holy sigil made of charred wood worn over her heart. Her hands are always wrapped in bandages, sometimes smoldering faintly. She smells of ash and myrrh.
Personality: Serene but intense, Venmira speaks as though someone else is whispering in her ear. She refers to herself in the third person when delivering prophecy and claims to dream of a fire that walks.
Background: Once a cloistered scribe in a minor Amnian temple, Venmira experienced a vision that led her to burn her own scriptures and wander west. She now claims to serve the "Open Flame" – a divine force she insists is neither god nor demon, but "the last fire that will cleanse the rot."
Reputation in Mosstone: The temple clergy keep their distance. Townsfolk find her unsettling but secretly seek her out for blessings and dream interpretation. Some worry she may attract dangerous attention.
Hook: She believes a child in Mosstone is “marked by the Flame” and destined to ignite a reckoning. The child has begun drawing flames in chalk—and sleepwalking toward the Wealdath.
