Race: Human (possibly something more)
Age: Unknown (appears 50s)
Occupation: Hermit, madman, prophet, blight-chaser
Usual Haunt: Wanders the road just beyond the gates, often seen standing motionless in fog or twilight
Appearance: Emaciated and ghost-pale, Jorn wears a moth-eaten cloak and carries a satchel full of bones, dead leaves, and carved stones. His face is marked by blight scarring along his jaw, and his eyes never seem to blink.
Personality: Speaks rarely, and when he does, it’s in cryptic riddles or long-forgotten poetry. Children say he hums lullabies to the trees. Adults avoid eye contact. He listens more than he speaks.
Background: No one knows where Jorn came from. He appeared in Mosstone nearly a year ago, barefoot, bleeding, and whispering to himself. He never stays long, but always returns before storms or tragedies. Some suspect he is a former priest of Eldath who went mad. Others say he was never alive to begin with.
Reputation in Mosstone: Regarded with fear and fascination. Some villagers leave food for him outside the walls. Others whisper he brings curses.
Hook: Jorn has etched a massive spiral of symbols into a stone near the Wealdath edge. It’s visible only under moonlight, and new sigils appear every few days. Scholars from afar may soon come asking why.
