During this ferocious battle, Gared harnessed the will of the water demons to produce a deadly weapon, leaving a trail of destruction and sorrow in his wake. All seemed lost, until Jared skilfully discovered the power of the ocean whisk that gave him the power to purify the water demons' unholy water. This battle is still commemorated to this day with the bimonthly whisking of unholy water.
