School Based Mental Health Services
Description
The school-based mental health providers offer mental health services to students in four San Diego school clusters (33 schools). Services are provided before, after, and during school. This program provides individual & group therapy, and support the referral process for students requiring long term services. This service is FREE and available to students regardless of their insurance. Eligibility barriers include students who are already receiving mental health support or have access to a Schoolink provider (Medi-Cal). If a student is on a waitlist to access mental health support, they could be eligible for interim services.
Legal guardian consent is mandatory.
Please note that the schools below are the ones that are only serviced by SAY SD. Other SDUSD school clusters are serviced by different providers. If your clients do not attend one of the below schools, please have their guardian check with their respective school for their school based mental health therapist.
