What I Wish My Parents Knew (WIWMPK)

Description

This is a safety, health, and wellness initiative to support communities by identifying issues impacting our communities as voiced by youth to address these issues.  This program focuses on youth advocacy where high school aged students host forums with the support of adult allies to shed light on “tough to talk about issues”.  Goal is to enhance the relationship and communication between parents and teens as well as sharing community based resources to strengthen the family unit.  The students meet every 4th Thursday of each month from 12:30-1:30 via zoom.  Please message if you have anyone interested and I can confirm the Zoom link before they attend!  This service is FREE.
