Project KEEP

Description

Parenting education and peer support group for foster and kinship caregivers.  The program supports caregivers on approaches they can take to improve their children’s behavior and decrease stress while building a supportive caregiver network using evidence-based training.  This is for foster and kinship/relative caregivers of children ages 4-18.  Groups are available in both English and Spanish and up to 32 hours can count towards annual training requirements!  Check out the flyer for more information! 

Services

Parenting education and peer support - 16-week, 2-hour per week groups include:

• Support from other caregivers

• On-site childcare (Currently N/A because virtual)

• Up to 32 hours of annual training

• Weekly incentives for participants

*Services offered in English and Spanish.  Groups are facilitated in either English OR Spanish so parents will be able to network with other parents in their own language*

Eligibility

Foster parents and kinship/relative caregivers of children ages 4–18.  Can be informal kinship caregivers as well.
