Poland

Cdansk:

An initiative was launched in Polish Armenian circles to support the creation of an Armenian chapel and altar in the side nave of the church of St. Peter and Paul in Gdańsk with the dedication of Sv Kajetana. In this chapel, in the altar, there will be a miraculous image of Sv Kajetana from the former Lviv Armenian Catholic Archdiocese. This painting was rescued in 1946 from the Armenian church of Sv Kajetana in Tyśmienica in Ukraine, where he was worshiped and famous for his miracles.

The cult of Sv. Kajetana was popular among Armenians, and the name Kajetan was often given to children in Armenian families. This cult was brought to Poland by the theatines (Clerics Regular), who from 1665 ran the Armenian College in Lviv and had a significant impact on the development of the Armenian Church in those areas.

Lublin - Parczew:

One of the most interesting monuments around Parczew is the niche in Buradów which contains a lifesize figure of St. Cajetan. However, in the past, another saint might have been venerated here since 1797. The current figure of the saint is a replica of the original stolen in 1993. Interestingly, however, was it Saint Cajetan or Saint Felix? The old figure was remembered as representing a Capuchin monk in a hood holding a child. The original statue was sculpted by a monk who lived close to Lublin where the Theatines were and somehow could have mistaken St Cajetan for St Felix who too is depicted carrying the child Jesus.
