On Sunday, November 10, 1968, the chapel of San Cayetano was inaugurated. At that time the area was under the jurisdiction of the parish of Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the ceremony was led by Monsignor Roberto Bescos, then diocesan vicar. The chapel was sponsored by Mariana B. de Crocci and Mateo Creccia. On the inauguration day, in the afternoon, festivities and games were held.
