Could it be a Suicide by Jumping, 3rd Grade Female Junior High Student Dies Shiga・Oumi Hachiman

On the 24th, around 3:55 AM, near the entrance of a mansion in Shiga prefecture, Oumi Hachiman, a junior high school girl who lived in the mansion (14) was found laying on the ground, faced down by a woman delivering newspapers (58), and then called 110. The student was declared to be dead 3 hours later at the hospital.

Note- a "mansion" is basically a regular apartment

Note 2- 110 is the number to call the police, while 119 is the number to call an ambulance. It is said to be better to call the police when a suicide happens and the victim is almost certain to be dead already

From the fact that the trash can the female student used in her room was found on the emergency stairway of the mansion, the local police are investigating if she used this trash can to climb up and commit suicide, and any possible reasons for doing so.
