In the early morning of the 24th, a female junior high student streamed her suicide by jumping.
On the morning of the 24th, a female junior high school student living in Shiga prefecture committed suicide by jumping off of her home. She live streamed the moment she jumped, causing her story to become well known.
The streamer was called Roro.
The video has been deleted, and it is not possible to watch it.
Note- Although Ankoku, aka Roro's last stream was thought to be lost media for a VERY long time, it has been found, and can be watched on Youtube.
Roro showing her feet
Roro streamed on FC2. She shows her feet, right before she jumps off the rooftop. and films showing the bottom of the mansion.
Note- Roro did not jump from the rooftop, she jumped from the emergency stairway between the 13th and 14th floor.
Note2- It says mansion, but that's just how Japanese people call apartments.

And right after, she proceeds to fall with the camera.
Those who saw the stream, and heard about it from others doubted whether she was alive or not.
There were people speculating that only the camera fell, or rather than actually jumping, she only slipped and fell.
6 hours after the stream, at around 10 AM, there was a news report from Shiga prefecture, Oumi Hachiman shi, that a junior high school girl had died.

Note- This link is dead, but it can still be viewed on the Wayback Machine. I believe it was deleted due to the fact that the article shows Roro's address, which was quite dangerous considering how popular she was on the internet. The following text is basically a repost of the article.
At around 3:55 am on the 24th, a female student (14) in the third year of junior high school who lived in this apartment was found to have collapsed on the condominium site in 4-chome Minami, Takakaicho, Omihachiman City, Shiga Prefecture. The girl student died in the hospital where she was transferred about 3 hours later. The prefectural police are investigating the cause, considering that there is a high possibility of jumping suicide.
According to the Omihachiman station, a woman (58) who was delivering a newspaper discovered and called 110. No suicide note was found, and there is no information of any bullying. There is a trash can on the stairs landing between the 13th and 14th floors of the condominium, which seems to have been used to climb over the wall.
The student's mother heard a noise in the student's room at around 1:40 AM, and it is highly probable that she subsequently committed suicide soon after that.
