Description: Join us for highlights, photos, and some trivia by Luciano! We will also enjoy Luciano’s video of Niagara Falls and Diana's videos and photos of Iguazu Falls and the Carnival of Brazil (taken by her son). This is an annual Brazilian festival held the Friday afternoon before Ash Wednesday at noon, which marks the beginning of Lent, the forty-day period before Easter. I have especially enjoyed our focus this summer on “A Trip of a Lifetime” which was inspired by Gabrielle’s presentation on her Tanzania Safari. Thank you, Gabrielle! Google Photos is free photo organizing, editing, and sharing software from Google. Our instructor, Mike McMahon, will explain the Albums feature of Google Photos – a way to easily organize your photos for quick retrieval and viewing. In addition, Shared Albums will be explained so you’ll be able to easily share your Albums with others. Shared Albums can be easily accessed by Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android users making it one of the very best photo-sharing tools available at any price. The last 15 minutes of class will be devoted to your questions.

>All PeopleSoft applications will be shut down to perform system maintenance starting Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 6:00 am.

RSD-Th’s Class Agenda
Today’s class will begin with information about my RSD summer classes. This will follow with an overview of information (for new students to my class) about my RSD class and website.
Registration (Summer) – Last day to enroll is Tuesday!
-As I explained in my email and class presentation on Tuesday, I encourage you to enroll in both my Tu & Th RSD classes. There will be a shared weekly topic or tour but there is a different emphasis:

-Email me if you can’t get enrolled as I may need to request an increase in the cap.
PeopleSoft’s Shutdown (Sat at 6am to Sun at 6pm)
-As stated above, all PeopleSoft applications will be shutdown to perform system maintenance starting Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 6:00 am. During this time, there will be no access to the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM), Finance, and Campus Solutions applications; SDCCD email access and access to network drives will remain available during this period. PeopleSoft applications will be back online by 6:00 pm on Sunday.

Welcome to all of you as returning and new students to my RSD classes. Each of you adds to the enjoyment and uniqueness of each semester’s RSD topics and tours.

Summer & Fall 2022 Registration at myportal.sdccd.edu
Fall registration began Wed., July 13.
You will be asked to update your registration application every semester.
To enroll in a class, you only need to type in the Course Reference Number (CRN)! Permission Numbers are not required.
It is important that you be consistent with your information, such as the exact spelling of names and email addresses. Many of the problems with getting into mySDCCD are caused by duplicate email addresses and/or duplicate CSID numbers. If you cannot complete the form, it may be due to conflicting information in the system. You can contact an SDCCE Campus to correct it.
If you contact the campus office for help, you will need to provide your name, birth date, and student ID number (CSID). When speaking with a staff member directly, you may be asked to scan or take a picture of your photo ID and email it to the staff member for verification of student identification.
