Cody, now 19, when she was only 2 'human years' old!
Cody's comfortable knowing we bought the Christmas tree just for her. (That isn't the only time she was wrong!)
This was taken of Cody a few days ago...pretty good for 19 human years!
Lea's favorite picture of Alison who passed away three ago at the age of 18 human years. "We take good care of our kitties!" (Check out that tail!)
Tori in typical pose.

A bunch of dead leaves from a dragon plant. (I think it is a dragon plant...)

Thie 'Anole' is showing its Dewlap(throat fan). Native to Southeastern US. If pesticides are avoided in one’s yard, you will see many more of these adorable lizards! Click on: Guide to Green Anoles as a Pet.
Ready for their walk. (Now we know how else Sharon really gets her exercise!)
Nekosan, Kenjisan and Sadie sleeping quietly.
Kenjisan (Japanese name for '2nd son') and Nekosan (Japanese name for 'cat'). Tonkinese cats are a cross between the Siamese and Burmese cats.
First meeting!
"Jack (my kitty who was just adopted from the Humane Society) and Sadie (my dog) checking each other out for the first time!"
One paw out...ready to leap at a moment's notice.
Home Sweet Home!
I would like to introduce you to my purrfect companions, Phoebe and Mia, both 7 years old, Tiger Tabbies who were adopted from a Rescue Shelter in New Jersey. I have always had cats in my life and cannot remember a time when I didn't. I moved to San Diego almost a year ago and leave behind many, many memories of working with a group, Shelter Helpers, who helped other no-kill shelters with fundraising. A favorite NJ venue that holds a special place in my heart is Associated Humane Societies & Popcorn Park Zoo in Forked River, NJ. This refuge makes room for the mistreated, unwanted, abused and neglected animals and makes them whole again.
My purrfect companions never have fewer than four feet!
Phoebe loves hiding under the covers when I'm making the bed.
Phoebe speaks to me through her eyes.
Phoebe & Mia - my purrfect companions.
A rogue trying to escape!
Soon to be released!
"Monarchs Make Me Happy!" In Jersey, I had over 100 common milkweed plants in the ground. My backyard was a habitat for them. It was hard to leave all that behind.
Venus is the name given to her by the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility. I originally wanted a dog but liked her immediately. We've now had her for 7 years!
We recently switched her to a higher quality of food so she's enjoying her new combination of wet and dry food.
Venus is very comfortable creating places to sleep throughout the house, ...including my lap.
Venus taking in the direct sunlight from the window in the mornings.
MaiTai
MaiTai loves treats but won’t sit on my lap. You may have seen MaiTai walking across my desk during our Zoom sessions.
Rudy
Was my husband’s cat, but also a “nurse” cat.
Sammi
My husband and I had Sammi & Rudy since our kids were babies. I now have MaiTai who I got as a rescue cat.
Waiting to be fed. I'm using the left over birdseed from our tour of Lindo Lake to feed some neighborhood birds. Two doves have claimed my balcony as their own.
King of the Roost (sitting on the railing). Waiting for me to clean up the mess!
Hope (black tuxedo/shorthair) and S'mores (Maine coon). S'mores thinks he's a dog. He plays fetch and walks on a leash.
