OTs can provide suggestions to assist children to develop fine motor skills (i.e: grasp, play, print) or support with modifications for activities supporting child's current level of development.
OTs can support with adapting and modifying activities of daily living to support a child's participation in daily activities of sleep, eating, dressing, toileting, and hygiene (bathing, teeth brushing, hair brushing).
OTs can support with developing strategies for regulating emotions if it is impacting your child's ability to participate in daily activities.
OTs can support with modification and adaptations of sensory needs that can be impacting participation in daily activities.
Connect with your family doctor or pediatrician if you have concerns with your child's development. They can complete a referral for additional support from Occupational Therapy.
