Part 1 of our Tackling Toileting series will help you identify your child’s toileting readiness and knowing if your child is ready to toilet train, looking at pre-readiness skills building, choosing a potty vs a toilet, and building bathroom tolerance.
Part 2 of our Tackling Toileting series will review setting up a toileting routine for success, looking at the bathroom environment, clothing considerations, as well as sensory and timed training.
Part 3 of our Tackling Toileting series will review setting up an action plan with interventions to start toilet training and set you on a routine to lead to the ultimate goal of having your child consistently and independently communicate their need to void and successfully void on the toilet.
