Start: Taunoa, Call from Cynthia

Your friend from the Sinnoh region is researching the legend of the creators of the earth. Accompany her on a journey of legends, mythology, and faith.

Quest Trigger: After battling as Champion twice on the village square of Taunoa, a phone call from Cynthia will occur upon entering the beach.

Stage 1 - Visit the Library

Cynthia informs you that an old friend from the Sinnoh Region is investigating an ancient legend. Meet Dawn on the first floor of the library in Otedin City.

Stage 2 - Investigate the Temple

After speaking with Dawn, she’ll ask you to explore the Alpha Temple on Takenga Island (Route 27). Inspect both chambers where the Legendary Pokémon dwell to proceed.

Stage 3 - Capture Dialga and Palkia

Within the temple, capture Dialga and Palkia, then return to Dawn.

Stage 4 - Capture the Lake Trio

Dawn tells you about the legend of the Creator and the third egg formed by Arceus. Next, find the Lake Trio — Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf — each located near one of the lakes surrounding Waimanawa: One inside a cave, one within a waterfall cave, and one underwater. Return to Dawn in the library afterward.

Stage 5 - Find Giratina

Dawn reveals more about the fourth egg, leading you to Giratina within the Alpha Temple. Behind the central platform, a hole in the wall has appeared — follow the path, capture Giratina, and report back to Dawn.

Stage 6 - Capture the Alpha Pokémon

The legend nears its end. Dawn presents you with the Azure Flute, allowing you to summon the Alpha Pokémon, Arceus. Use the flute atop the central altar of the Alpha Temple to encounter and capture Arceus.

Stage 7 - Talk to Dawn

Finally, speak to Dawn once more to conclude the quest and complete the Legend of Creation.
