Taha tells you about a special Pokémon said to create fertile soil and make plants grow. Still, there are possible dangers for the villagers. Help Taha with the research.

Stage 1 - Compete in the League Tournament

Before Taha entrusts you with the mission, you must first complete the League Tournament. Finish the quest “Aoroa Challenge” to proceed.

Stage 2 - Capture the Pokémon

Taha speaks of a special Pokémon known as the “King of Abundance.” Your task is to find it. West of Paiata, on Route 17, cross the glacier heading east and enter the cave. Follow the path until you reach the snow-covered area to the east. There, you can encounter and capture Calyrex. Afterward, return to Taha and report your success.

Stage 3 - Prepare the Special Food

Taha tells you about two steeds once ridden by the King. They will only appear if special food is placed in a calm location. You’ll receive two recipes and must craft both Polar Food and Phantom Food. Check the Item List, create the food items, and then speak to Taha again.

Stage 4 - Climb the Summit

The two steeds are said to live far from humankind. You must now ascend Mt. Aoraki. Enter the cave entrance in the town center and navigate through the tunnels until you reach a section blocked by obstacles. Solve the three puzzle chambers to advance further. A Legendary Pokémon also slumbers deep within the mountain — you must capture it before reaching the summit. Continue following the path until you exit near the top of the mountain.

Stage 5 - Capture the Steeds

At the summit, place the food in the designated spot. During the day, you will encounter Glastrier, and during the night, you will find Spectrier. Capture both Pokémon and return to Taha.

Stage 6 - Talk to Taha

After reporting back, Taha will give you the Reins of Unity. You can now fuse Calyrex with either of its steeds and ride it across the land. The quest concludes here.
