Start: Any Painter in various towns across Aoroa

Some trainers specialize in training only Pokémon of a certain color. Fight them and find out what the inspiration behind this idea is.

Stage 1 - Defeat Eight Painters

You come across a group of Painters — Trainers who each specialize in Pokémon of a single color. Your task is to defeat them all and uncover the identity of the mysterious person who inspired their unique style. Defeat eight Painters located throughout the region:

Maiaria, Taunoa, Kirikoa, Taipuia, Nepia, Mawera, Avon City, Waimanawa, and Kopiranga.

After winning against eight of them, you’ll receive information about where to find their mentor.

Stage 2 - Meeting in Akarana City

Meet the mysterious person at the southern edge of the park in Akarana City. A familiar face awaits you there.

Stage 3 - Capture Zekrom

Battle against N and capture Zekrom afterward.

Stage 4 - Capture Reshiram

Challenge N once more and capture Reshiram following your victory.

Stage 5 - Talk to N

After the battles, speak with N again. He tells you that he plans to stay in Moana Bay for a while. From now on, you can challenge him to rematches there. The quest then concludes.
