Start: Moana Bay / Waka Hui (at game start)
Professor Oak and his research team tried to settle all known Pokémon species in the Aoroa region two decades ago. But living together can bring challenges. Catch and study the Pokémon of Aoroa.
Professor Oak gives you a Pokédex and explains the unique aspects of the region. Thanks to Aoroa’s ideal natural conditions, it serves as a perfect testing ground to see if Pokémon from different regions can live together harmoniously. Over the past decades, various species have been released to observe whether nature’s balance can be maintained. That’s why you can find so many different Pokémon in Aoroa. The Professor asks you to catch as many Pokémon as possible and learn about their coexistence. Since you’ve traveled through many other regions, you already know what’s required. As you progress, Professor Oak will unlock more Pokégear features and bonus elements. You can contact him by phone or meet him in person to show your progress. (See also “Pokégear & More” for related features.)
