Start: Avon City, Antique Shop (after full reconstruction)

The Smith brothers run an antique shop in Avon City and are searching for valuables from a 3000-year-old culture. Something tells you this treasure hunt could be worth it.

This quest is required to complete the quest “Saving the Climate.”

Stage 1 - Find the Relic Copper

Ruby Smith wants to see if you have what it takes to be a real treasure hunter and assist him and his brothers. Bring him a Relic Copper to continue the quest. (See also the Item Overview.)

Stage 2 - Talk to Sapphire

After that, speak with his brother Sapphire.

Stage 3 - Find the Treasures

From Sapphire, you’ll learn that the brothers are searching for four specific ancient items. They promise generous rewards in return. 
To find the items, dive into underwater areas and retrieve them:

• Relic Vase → Route 32

• Relic Band → Route 14

• Relic Statue → Route 3

• Relic Crown → Route 27

Sell all four items to the brothers to progress in the quest.

Stage 4 - Talk to Emerald

Once you’ve sold all four ancient artifacts, speak with Emerald. As thanks, he’ll give you the Pokémon Magearna. 
From now on, you can change Magearna’s color by talking to Sapphire. This will conclude the quest.
