Lorgran was a well liked lord of the small insignificant town. He was known to charge low taxes and provide well for his people. However in the year 707 it was discovered Lorgran had secretly been studying Necromancy, a practice banned by the Kaldonian government. It was also discovered that the lord had been conducting experiments and test of necromantic magic on the townspeople. In a successful rebellion the common people of Aqua-Artis stormed the lords manor and when he retreated to the dungeons of the manor they sealed it away thinking him dead. The Aqua-Artisites built a monument in remembrance of the event and those that had been lost. Although the Mesaids maintained their presence he became a black stain on their reputation, the rulers never truly earning back the trust of the public. After thorough investigation into the event and the individual known as Lorgran, the Kaldian government determined that the town of Aqua-Artis to be unsafe. After the evacuation of the town the evidence became clear that Lorgran, in the form of a lich was still persisting in the dungeons of the old manor. Some citizens chose to stay however the city of Aqua-Artis has been mostly abandoned since the Kaldian government cut of trade ties with the remaining inhabitants of the city. The Lich of Eastern Coast, as he is now called, is said to haunt the beaches near the town and ships commonly go missing if they mistakenly near the port. Now mostly a town full of bandits and low-lifes the Kaldian government no longer acknowledges it existence and refuses entry to those he request it. It is believed by many that Lorgran still lives in the coastal city, and under investigation by Adrani Belegil in 1347 the lich was determined to still persist in the old Mesiad Manor.
