His creation is described in the Account of Creation as being "The first being of the world, from stone he was born and lived" (Account of Creation, First Age of Creation, 10). Magos is the god of Magic and Creation and is attributed to the creation of not only the known world, in the Account of Creation, but also the creation of magic itself. After the creation of the ancient world before the "Great Ascension" of the gods, Magos recorded the methods in which he used to harness the powers of creation. This text is known as the Creatoma and holds a record of all the known spells in existence as well as instructions on how to create worlds. This text has been a long sought after resource by the University of the Creatorem a cult-like group of scholars and Magos worshipers who aim to harness the original powers of creation that were available at the beginning of time. It is theorized by scholars of the Creatorem that all magic is simply a re-transcribing or translation of the original Creatoma.
Magos is also revered as a god of the earth and stone. The Ancients were Magos' first living creation, and it was these ancients whom many dwarves claim ancestry. For this reason and his association with the earth, many Dwarves revere Magos as their patron deity.
Magos is also honored in the realms of the East where his presence supposedly remained on earth during the Ancient Ages after he had ascended. Having ascended the tale claims that he returned to earth to create Remrick, a land built from the earth up, growing it from the plane of earth itself. It is this same tales that claims Magos built Stone City, or at the very least built the tunnels underneath Remrick's surface known only as the Labyrinth. While there is some debate about his return after the ascension it is believed by many scholars in Remrick since the stonework in Remrick was either summoned using highly powerful magic or was fused together after construction to make it resemble a city grown from stone.
Other tales of Magos' return have mainly portrayed him as an oread or dwarf who blesses the faithful for learning about his creation through the study of magic.
In some early transcripts of Ancient's writings, the being of Magos is described as a muscular being whose face is hidden with a hood or cowl and whose eyes glow from the hood's darkness. This personification of Magos is the most popular one in the modern day and is frequently seen on temples and at places of magical learning. In dwarven society, he is often portrayed in a similar manner, but more in proportions with a dwarf, often with a long beard cascading from the hooded face.
