After publishing his first work, the Duergar Emperor, Hreolstorg, invited Hezekiah to the heart of the Adamantine Empire for the purpose of compiling a publishable edition of The Annals of Duergar Lineage, a record of the genealogies of Duerr held in the Emperor’s private library.
Calamity of Calamities: An Examination of The Religions of the Great Below (1325)
In an effort to help educate the surface-dwellers upon the religious practices of the Darkfolk, Lake undertook a massive study of the religious literature and practices of the Duergar. It contains several appendices covering the religious beliefs of other Darkfolk.
The Curious Case of Andfera (1343)
While wandering through the Great Below, Hezekiah heard about the recently emancipated free state of Andfera. He visited, and this book is a reconstruction of the events of the freeing of Andfera from under the thumb of Hreolstorg based on interviews from those present.
An Anthology of Dark Tales: The Myths, Legends, and Tales of the Great Below (1388)
After a long hiatus from writing spent researching and travelling, Hezekiah published this anthology of stories from the Great Below. It is the first record of many of these tales, and even included one of the most complete map of the Great Below in print to date.
