WEEK 12 – REVIEW, EXAM PREPARATION & SIMULATION, so that the 12 weeks are complete and exam-ready.
🎯 MAIN OBJECTIVE WEEK 12
Players can fluently combine all padel situations and play a full rally with tactical choices, correct technique, and network control. Trainees are prepared for the practical exam and observation.
📚 PLAYER LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Backplay: correct starting position, defensive lob, rally control
Transition: recognizing short balls, deep approaches, net control
Net play: volleys, Bajada, Gancho, Smash, Kicksmash
Team agreements visible: communication and position
Scoring points through tactical choices
Maintaining a consistent recovery position
🎓 TRAINEE LEARNING OBJECTIVE
Visualize all 4 steps of padel handling: Observe → Decide → Execute → Feedback
Name a maximum of 3 technical/tactical focus points per player

📍 TRAINING 1 – REVIEW ALL ZONES (2 hours)
1️⃣ Observation + Assist
Observe the entire rally 2 against 2:
OBSERVE
Does the player recognize the ball type and position?
Correct positioning in backcourt, transition, net play?
DECIDE
Is the tactical choice visible: neutral, build-up, point?
EXECUTE
GRASS applied correctly with each shot
Ball in front of the body, correct footwork
FEEDBACK
Is the point result correct?
Is recovery visible after each shot?
2️⃣ Drill – Full Rally Combination
Assignment:
Backcourt → transition → net play → advanced shot (Bajada/Gancho/Smash/Kicksmash)
Rally at least 12 shots
Coach observes and records
Coaching phrases:
“Choose your shot consciously.”
“Shot + movement = one action.”
“Communication visible.”
“Recover after each shot.”
📍 TRAINING 2 – SIMULATION EXAM (2 hours)
Simulate exam situation: 2 vs. 2
Trainee observes and notes 4 steps of padel handling per player
Evaluate GRASS, tactical choices, recovery, team communication
Coaching:
“Observe, identify 3 key points.”
“Focus on game concept, not just technique.”
“Limit feedback during rally, observe first.”
📍 TRAINING 3 – REVIEW OF SPECIFIC STROKE (2 hours)
Backplay: lob, slice
Transition: approach, short ball, net takeover
Net play: volleys, Bajada, Gancho, Smash, Kick Smash
Focus on precision, speed, and variety
Coaching phrases:
“Control over power.”
“Recover after stroke.”
“Aim for the opponent's feet or corner.”
"Compact arm action."
