FAMILY
William Garrad's census returns tell us he was born in London about 1811. I suspect he is the s/o Thomas & Eliza Garrad born on Feb 11, 1811 and christened March 17, 1811 at St Marylebone Parish Church, on the Marylebone Road, London.
He married Elizabeth Hawkes of Boddicot, Oxfordshire, around 1834.
INHERITANCES
In 1843, Elizabeth and her three living siblings received equal shares of their father John Hawkes' estate.
Assuming that my identification of his parents is correct, William may have inherited property from his mother.

William Garrad died in Farthinghoe on May 13, 1870. He was 62.
