Michael Geritey & N Naghten baptized their son Thomas at St Peter's Athlone, in Roscommon, during Jan, 1789. This was the first year of the parish register.
I suspect they may be the parents of Michael Geraghty, who was probably born about 1785 because:
There are four couples whose names appear in the parish register, when it started in 1789:
John Garratty & Joan Lennon - who baptized their daughter Joan at St Perter's during May, 1789.
Patrick Gerraghty & Margaret Cunningham - who buried their daughter Joan at St Perter's Feb 20, 1791.
Michael Geritey & N Naghten - who baptized their son Thomas at St Peter's during Jan, 1789
Thomas Geraghty & Francesca Naghtan - who christened their daughter Francesca at St Peter's on Jan 28 1793
Of these four, I think the most likely is Michael because:
he probably would have named a son after himself, and
the name Thomas continues down through the generations, and
working through the register, I have not yet found a subsequent baptism (which suggests Thomas may have been one of his last children.
Children:
(Proposed) Michael Geraghty, born about 1785, who may have been named in honour of his father.
(Proposed) Edward Geraghty - a sponsor at the July 28, 1820 christening - Michael s/o Michael Geraghty & [Bridget] Doyle
Thomas s/o Michael Geritey & N Naghten christened at St Peter's Athlone, in Roscommon, during Jan, 1789. Is this the Thomas Geraghty who married Eliza Kelly at St Peters on 26 Aug 1815? (If so was the Thomas Kelly who witnessed this her father? Or a brother?)
(Gul?) s/o Tomas Geraghty & Elizabeth Kelly baptized at St Peters May 2, 1821
