Ena @ 100

My grandmother Ena celebrated her 100th birthday on June 7, 2008. Eighty family members and friends converged on Exbury Gardens near Southampton to celebrate this remarkable event with a picnic lunch and a cake-cutting ceremony (four cakes were needed to accommodate the 100 candles). We also hired a steam train for a tour around a corner of the gardens, all in blazing sunshine. Ena was in good form and it was great to see so many family members gathered together for such a happy event.
