We've been to the Gorges du Verdon before, once with Simon and Shusheel and in once with my mother. This time we dragged along our good friend Benoit who spent a few days with us in summer 2004. The gorge is only 90 minutes north-west of our home.
This (below) was our first stopping place, the Point Sublime.
Our next stop was at the top of a 750 meter (2500 foot vertical cliff) - you can see some crazy people sitting on the edge.
Other crazy people, like this attractive Scandinavian below, were climbing the cliff face.
Catherine and Benoit go back a long way.
