Structure Of N Society

In the diagram above you will see the basic structure of the 'Naha' fee-driven society. Every member of a 'nahum' (at the bottom) purchases the goods and services of other 'nahum'. Every purchase holds an implied contract. Contractual disputes are channeled through the left hand side, effectively raising the issues with higher and higher courts. At any time the judiciary machinery (on the the right hand side) may intervene, or be called to intervene.

Disputes are normally resolved at the local level. However if the case is too difficult, or if any of the participants object, the case can be escalated to the Judiciary Profession itself.

If the Judiciary Profession cannot handle the issue then the Meta-Professions may convene and create one or two new laws to cover the situation.

The overall arbiter of the standards of behavior for all professions is the Profession of Professions who's job it is to set standards. However this profession is also answerable to the Meta-Professions but, apart from the regulation of professional conduct, has no other powers itself.

For example: -

Let us say an operation was undertaken on a person but it was botched. The person, or their 'nahum' would normally raise the issue with the regional professional body (or bodies) to which the doctor belonged.

If the issue is not resolved at this level then it can be raised at the institutional level. Again, if the issue is not resolved it is considered to be a 'systemic' problem and the Profession of Professions may ask the Meta-Professions to intervene.

At any time during this process, if misconduct is suspected then the process can be taken over by the judiciary on the right hand side.

All cases are open to the public.
