Act 1 Activity: Soundtrack Creation

Objective: Create a soundtrack for Act 1 by selecting songs that represent key scenes or emotions, helping you to better understand the characters and atmosphere of the play.

Instructions:

• Work individually.

• Choose 3-5 key moments or emotions from Act 1.

• For each chosen moment or emotion, select a song that you think best represents it.

• Write a brief explanation for each song choice, explaining how the lyrics, melody, or mood of the song connect to the selected moment or emotion in Act 1.

• Share your soundtrack and explanations with the class or in small groups and discuss how the chosen songs enhance your understanding of Act 1.
