Lesson 2

Lesson 2 was designed for a very sweet and adventurous student who was in Kindergarten.  He is significantly visually impaired and nonverbal, so this lesson used a lot of tactile and auditory manipulatives so that he could get a meaningful learning experience.  He was learning some Braille letters and phonemic awareness at the time of this lesson, so I made enlarged Braille cards to use during the lesson.  Each letter had a tactile piece of nature attached so that he could build a connection between words, objects, and the Braille letter.
