Lesson 1

Lesson 1 was designed for a very sweet, kind, and caring boy in second grade.  This young man had an intellectual disability as well as some fine motor impairments.  He was learning to read CVC words and write those words.  To help practice some fine motor skills and make the lesson more engaging, I chose to use oatmeal to help him write his words.  Below you will find the lesson plan and lesson plan materials (the pictures of his CVC words).
