2010.2 - DUCK II

This piece is a new style for me. It happened because I saw My friend Elsa Pering begin a piece, and then she just wouldn't finish it the way I wanted her to. It seems Elsa gets to do what she wants to do, and doesn't have to listen to me. This piece is more pure sculptural form than I usually make. I was concerned with the form and lines more than I was with the animal. For the first time, realism was a departure rather than a goal.
