These pieces always make me think of the time that Henry Hyde, the Republican chairman of the judiciary committee that tried to remove Bill Clinton from the presidency for philandering, explained his own affair as a “youthful indiscretion”. He was forty-one when the “youthful indiscretion” occurred. In fact, the sculpture does remind me of Henry Hyde’s physique and demeanor as well. These are two more of my bottle people, and I think the possibilities are endless.
