2002.2 - SPOTTED BOXFISH

This is one of my favorite Hawaiian fish. They’re also found in aquaria, and Monterrey has one. They’re only about 31/2” long, and I just like to watch them motor around in the water. This one is a female. The male has blue sides. This fish is unglazed, and I put the spots on it, one-at-a-time, using porcelain slip.
