2004.1 - MAYOR & WIFE

These are the first of my bottle people. I bought the jars full of colored fruits and vegetables to use as heads, and then stuck them on bodies that they seemed to fit. The mayor’s wife always reminded me of an old fashioned German lady in a tight formal day dress, sort of like my grandmothers. The smaller mayor is a caricature of a milquetoast sort of proper man. They are mostly a joke.
