If the world ended, I'd end with it
If I were the last woman on Earth, IΒ wouldn't want to be
If one day I woke up and everything was over and empty
I'd take a hundred paracetamol followed by a glass of wine
Or maybe a shot, I've always liked something stronger
I always thought I was stronger, a survivor
But now I realise that to survive is to be stuck
Traded away as a currency, an object for their desire
For their please, a prisoner, a promise
A promise for new life by destroying ours
You promised them women
And you promised me life
And we'll both get our way
Though I won't get a say
And society will be rebuilt
Not diseased, not infected
But sickened
