Birds leave the branch.

Clouds leave the sun.

Rivers leave mountains when their course is run.

Seasons will wander,

daylight will dim.

Every beginning grows distant and grim.

Trust not the sea,

trust not the sky,

trust not the kindly hand reaching nearby.

Fear not the thunder,

fear not the knife,

fear the academic

who studies life.

For beasts may hunger,

and storms align,

but he will sever

every silver line.

Note: ‘silver line’ is referring to Scaramouche having wires in his body. It’s just a head canon though, as I developed this aforementioned headcanon when Scaramouche turned into Shouki no Kami in the Sumeru Archon Quest, seeing him have wires connected to his back in order to control the mecha.  Though I do acknowledge him having puppet joints. I may be contradicting myself here, lol)
