1. Ringkasan visa kunjungan tinggal bersama


Visa Kunjungan tinggal bersama (F-1) dapat diterbitkan bagi orang yang memiliki tujuan kunjungan ke keluarga suami/istri yang tinggal di Korea, tinggal bersama dengan keluarga atau tujuan lain yang serupa.

2. Jenis visa


Berdasarkan pada rincian tujuan masuk yang berbeda, silahkan merujuk pada bagian yang sesuai seperti telah tertera pada ‘3. Persyaratan pemohon dan dokumen persyaratan’ di bawah ini.

3. Persyaratan pemohon dan dokumen persyaratan

(1) Orang yang tinggal bersama dengan orang yang memenuhi kualifikasi Diplomatik (A-1), Dinas (A-2) atau Kerjasama (A-3)

□ Persyaratan pemohon


• Orang yang tinggal bersama dengan orang yang memenuhi kualifikasi Diplomatik (A-1), Dinas (A-2) atau Kerjasama (A-3) yang tidak termasuk di dalam bagian rumah tangga tersebut

□ Jenis visa

Visa Kunjungan tinggal bersama (F-1), masa berlaku 3 bulan, masa izin tinggal dalam 1 tahun

Dokumen persyaratan : Harus melampirkan dokumen umum permohonan aplikasi visa dan dokumen pembuktian yang sesuai dengan tujuan masuk di bawah ini


Surat undangan (dibutuhkan penjelasan secara rinci mengenai tujuan mengundang, periode waktu mengundang, perkiraan tempat tinggal, kebutuhan untuk tinggal bersama atau tinggal jangka panjang)

• Fotokopi identitas milik pengundang (paspor dan lain-lain) dan fotokopi Alien Registration Card atau fotokopi visa Korea

Dokumen bukti hubungan kekerabatan (melalui akte kelahiran, dokumen hubungan keluarga dan lain-lain yang dapat membuktikan secara objektif)

(2) Anggota keluarga dari orang yang telah memperoleh kualifikasi sebagai Orang Korea di luar negeri (F-4)

□ Persyaratan pemohon


Suami/istri dan anak di bawah umur dari orang yang telah memperoleh kualifikasi sebagai Orang Korea di luar negeri (F-4)

★ Pengajuan permohonan aplikasi visa ini untuk suami/istri dan anak di bawah umur tidak dapat diajukan pada waktu yang bersamaan dengan pengajuan permohonan aplikasi visa Orang Korea di luar negeri (hanya dimungkinkan jika telah memperoleh kualifikasi sebagai Orang Korea di luar negeri)

□ Jenis visa

Visa Kunjungan tinggal bersama (F-1), visa multiple entry, masa berlaku 1 tahun, masa izin tinggal 1 tahun

Dokumen persyaratan : Harus melampirkan dokumen umum permohonan aplikasi visa dan dokumen pembuktian yang sesuai dengan tujuan masuk di bawah ini


Dokumen pembuktian hubungan keluarga (sertifikat hubungan keluarga Korea dan lain-lain)

• Fotokopi identitas (paspor dan lain-lain) dan fotokopi visa Orang Korea di luar negeri (F-4) milik orang Korea yang telah menerima visa Orang Korea di luar negeri

(3) Asisten rumah tangga dari pegawai kantor perwakilan misi diplomatik pemerintah negara asing di Korea yang memiliki kewarganegaraan yang sama

□ Persyaratan pemohon


Asisten rumah tangga dari pegawai kantor perwakilan misi diplomatik pemerintah negara asing di Korea yang saat ini tinggal di Korea. Pegawai kantor perwakilan misi diplomatik pemerintah negara asing tersebut dan asisten rumah tangganya memiliki kewarganegaraan yang sama

★ Jika pegawai kantor perwakilan misi diplomatik pemerintah negara asing dengan asisten rumah tangganya memiliki kewarganegaraan yang berbeda maka harus mengajukan permohonan aplikasi visa melalui prosedur sertifikat penerbitan visa

□ Jenis visa

Visa Kunjungan tinggal bersama (F-1), masa berlaku 3 bulan, masa izin tinggal dalam 1 tahun

Dokumen persyaratan : Harus melampirkan dokumen umum permohonan aplikasi visa dan dokumen pembuktian yang sesuai dengan tujuan masuk di bawah ini


Surat undangan (dibutuhkan penjelasan secara rinci mengenai tujuan mengundang, periode waktu mengundang, perkiraan tempat tinggal dan lain-lain)

• Fotokopi identitas pengundang (paspor dan lain-lain) dan fotokopi Alien Registration Card atau fotokopi visa Korea

• Fotokopi kontrak kerja (harus kontrak langsung antara pihak pegawai kantor perwakilan misi diplomatik pemerintah negara asing dengan asisten rumah tangga yang diundang)

Surat resmi permohonan kerjasama dari pihak kantor perwakilan misi diplomatik pemerintah negara asing di Korea

(4) Parents of international students enrolled in a master's or doctoral program

□ 신청 요건


Parents of international students who have studied at a Korean university for more than six months in a master's or doctoral degree course, or parents of the student's spouse (up to two individuals)

For the calculation of the period exceeding six months, the date of the student's Alien Registration with a local immigration office will be taken into account.

  • In order to apply for this visa at the embassy, you must first obtain the Certificate of Visa Issuance.

Visa Type: F-1-5, the validity of the visa is three months, the maximum period of stay is 90 days (single entry visa)

Documents requirements: The common documents needed for visa applications, plus the Certificate of Visa Issuance.

(5) A family member of a marriage immigrant, such as a parent, etc. (F-1-5)

< Note >

Please note the following if you wish to visit a marriage-immigrant and his/her family in Korea.

  • From January 3, 2022, 'family members of marriage immigrants, such as parents,' who enter Korea can stay for more than 90 days only if they possess an F-1-5 visa at the time of entry. Furthermore, if you enter Korea with a short-term visa, such as a C-3-1 visa, you cannot change your status of stay in Korea.

  • Consequently, family members of marriage immigrants who intend to stay in Korea for more than 90 days need to obtain an F-1-5 visa.

(A) A marriage immigrant's mother or father

Application Eligibility

  • A parent of an immigrant may apply for this visa if the parent wishes to assist in the care of the child of the marriage immigrant as well as reside with them.

  • However, you will not be eligible for this visa if you meet any of the following conditions.

    • Family members, including parents, are not eligible to apply for an F-1-5 visa if a family member other than their parents is currently residing in Korea under F-1-5 status.

    • Additionally, the applicant must not have been sentenced to more than a fine for violating Korean law, or ordered to leave Korea, or deported from Korea in accordance with the Korean Immigration Act.

Invitation Requirements: Invitation will only be possible if all the following requirements are met.

  • Eligibility of the invitor

    • The invitor must be the Korean spouse of the marriage immigrant.

    • In some cases, the marriage immigrant can also be the invitor.

  • Limit on invitations and invitees.

  • Conditions under which invitations are possible

    • As of the visa application date, either of the following conditions must be met;

      • The marriage immigrant or his/her spouse is pregnant, or

      • An invitee is invited by the invitor before the end of September of the year his/her child turns nine years old.

    • For 'single-parent families' and 'multi-child families' (with 3 or more minor children): An invitee can be invited by the invitor before the end of September of the year his/her child turns twelve years old.

  • Cases for restricting invitations

    • The child on the basis of whom the visa application is made must physically reside in Korea at the time of invitation. When it comes to the family of a marriage immigrant under humanitarian considerations, the family members with severe illness or severe disabilities must physically reside in Korea at the time of invitation.

    • If the invitor has not fulfilled his/her obligation to send the child to school in accordance with Korean law, even though the child is of school age, the invitation is strictly restricted.

    • Invitations are restricted for a certain period if the inviter or a foreigner who entered Korea at its invitation has violated certain Korean laws.

Visa Type: F-1-5, the validity of the visa is three months, the maximum period of stay is 90 days (single entry visa)

  • Notes on the visa: the name of the child to be looked after or the name of the family member with severe illness or disability.

Documents requirements: The common documents needed for visa applications, plus the following to verify your purpose for visiting.

  • The inviter's basic documents

    • A copy of the inviter's ID

    • Letter of invitation (To submit, please use the designated form)

    • A letter of guarantee for the invitees (period of guarantee: three years from the date of entry into Korea / To submit, please use the designated form)

    • A written pledge to prevent unlawful stays and illegal employment (To submit, please use the designated form)

    • Proof of residence: Real estate lease contract, detailed certificate of registration of real estate, etc.

    • School enrollment certificate (if the marriage immigrant's children have reached school age)

      • In case of unavoidable delays in admission to elementary school or advancement to upper grades, documentation must be provided.

        • A detailed explanation of the above reasons should be provided by the invitee, but there is no formal format for this. (No matter the case, the date of the writing, the name of the inviter, etc. must be clearly spelled out, and the inviter must sign by hand)

        • If the above reasons are not explicitly explained or further documentation is required, the embassy will request the additional documents and the visa application process will be prolonged.

  • Documentation of the inviter's family relationship

    • Basic Certificate (issued by the name of the inviter)

    • Certificate of Family Relations (issued by the name of the inviter)

    • Certificate of Marriage Relations (issued by the name of the inviter)

    • Resident Registration Certificate (issued by the name of the inviter)

    • In the case of pregnancy: Pregnancy Certificate or Maternity Handbook

    • Certificate of Family Relations (issued by the name of the child)

      • If there are two or more children: submit Certificate of Family Relations for all the children

      • For adopted children, please also submit a copy of the inviter’s Adoption Certificate

  • Proof of family relationship of the visa applicant

    • Kartu Keluarga of the visa applicant

    • The birth certificates of all the siblings of the marriage immigrant listed on the Kartu Keluarga above (if there are more than one sibling, please submit a copy of each)

  • For the family of a marriage immigrant under humanitarian circumstances: documents proving severe illnesses or severe disabilities

    • Serious illnesses: medical receipts that show an incurable disease or an extension of the insurance coverage to reduce the patient's out-of-pocket expenses.

    • Severe disabilities : Certification of disability, etc.

      • According to the disability certificate, if the phrase 'severe disability' or 'disability with a severe degree of disability' appears in the "comprehensive degree of disability" column, it is recognized as a severe disability.

  • (If the inviter is a marriage immigrant with permanent residence): his or her Korean spouse must submit all the documents listed above.


(B) The siblings of the marriage immigrant (but only those who are adults under Korean law) or children born to the marriage immigrant through previous marriages

Application Eligibility

  • Siblings of the marriage immigrant (but only adults under Korean law) or children born through previous marriages may apply for this visa to help with child care and reside with them. However, the following limitations should be noted.

    • The applicant may apply for a visa only if neither of the parents of the marriage immigrant is able to enter the country due to death, illness, or seniority over the age of 60.

    • If a parent or other family member is currently residing in Korea under F-1-5 status, you are not eligible to apply for this visa.

    • The marriage immigrant's siblings or children born from previous marriages who have a minor child cannot apply for this visa.

    • Additionally, the applicant must not have been sentenced to more than a fine for violating Korean law, or ordered to leave Korea, or deported from Korea in accordance with the Korean Immigration Act.

  • The documents that clearly and objectively prove the reason why the marriage immigrant's parents are unable to enter Korea (please refer to the information below for specific documentation requirements)

    • A statement of reasons (free-form)

      • In a concrete and specific manner, this should clarify the reasons why the marriage immigrant's parents are unable to enter Korea.

      • The date of creation of the document as well as the writer's name and signature should be clearly spelled out on the document.

    • Relevant evidence

      • If both parents of the marriage immigrant have passed away or are older than 60 years of age: their death certificates, official documents confirming their ages, etc.

      • If entry is not possible due to another reason: Proof of the reason (hospitalization certificate, etc.)

  • For the family of a marriage immigrant under humanitarian circumstances: documents proving severe illnesses or severe disabilities

    • Serious illnesses: medical receipts that show an incurable disease or an extension of the insurance coverage to reduce the patient's out-of-pocket expenses.

(6) Parents of international students in high school or lower

Application Eligibility


  • The parent of an international student enrolled in an educational institution below high school at their own expense.

    • This visa is not available to parents of international students sponsored by Korean government agencies or local governments (including local and provincial education offices)

  • For this visa, only one parent can apply.

  • If a child has been granted a D-4-3 visa, the parent can apply for this visa even before the child enters Korea.


Visa type: Visa Pelatihan umum (D-4-3), The validity period of the visa is 3 months, and the period of stay is within a year.

Documents to submit : Harus melampirkan dokumen umum permohonan aplikasi visa dan dokumen pembuktian yang sesuai dengan tujuan masuk di bawah ini

  • International students' admission letter or enrollment certificate (from Korea)

  • A copy of the student's visa (D-4-3) or alien registration card

  • Proof of family relationship with the international student (Kartu Keluarga, birth certificate)

  • Proof of financial capability (submit all items applicable)

    • Certificate of bank balance for the last six months

    • Bank statements showing the use of credit cards during the last three months

    • Ownership certificate for a car

    • Documents proving property ownership, such as a house or land
