The maximum number of invitations for the F-1-5 visa
1. When supporting the upbringing of children
The invitor can only invite F-1-5 applicants two times per child in total.
Each parent is counted separately when an invitation is sent simultaneously or sequentially. For example, if both parents are invited simultaneously, the number of invitations is 2)
However, if you have not entered Korea with an F-1-5 visa, it is excluded from the invitation count.
The number of invitations is not extended to individuals who entered Korea on a short-term visa and changed their status to F-1-5 before January 3, 2022.
For 'single-parent families' and 'multi-child families' (with 3 or more minor children): The invitor can invite multiple times.
2. When supporting the immigrant's family for humanitarian reasons
The invitor can invite multiple times.
Families with a Korean spouse, Korean children, or immigrant immigrants with severe illnesses or severe disabilities are considered marriage families under humanitarian considerations.
