Ringmaster Flyathon

For the second Sunday in a row the weather at KMAC’s Scoresby field was perfect for flying. The field was in top condition thanks to Peter Koch and his team.

Les Varga was first away in his quest to beat his previous record and completed ten flights on the day. The great weather brought out many members early including Doug Grinham from Geelong and Dave Lacy from Ballarat. Dave Nobes and Norm Skeen joined us from Doncaster Club to record a few flights before heading back to their home Club field for the afternoon. Mark Usher learned that running 25% nitro in an old Fox 35 was probably not a good idea!

Thanks go to Les and Steve for organizing the lunchtime refreshments and to Les for the photographs of the flyers and their models.

Thirteen flyers came with fifteen models to record 45 flights. This is the list from the day: -
