They each fell asleep by their side, turning their backs. At five o'clock in the morning Blanca woke up with a upset stomach due to the sweet smell of the flowers with which Esteban Trucha had decorated the bridal chamber. Jean de Satigny accompanied her to the bathroom, held her forehead as she bent over the excused, helped her to bed and took the flowers out into the corridor. Then he stayed awake the rest of the night reading The Philosophy of the Toilet, by the Marquis of Sade while Blanca sighed between dreams that it was great to be married with an intellectual .
The next day Jean went to the bank to cash a check from her father-in-law and passed almost all day touring the shops of the center to buy the trousseau of boyfriend who she considered appropriate for her new economic position. Entretanto... Blanca, bored of waiting for him in the hotel lobby, decided to go and visit his mother. He put on his best morning hat and left in a car of rent to the big house on the corner, where the rest of his family was having lunch in silence, still resentful and tired from the shocks of the wedding and the hangover from the last fights. Seeing her enter the dining room, her father he cried out in horror.
