In the event that an employee is injured on the job it should be thoroughly documented and submitted to HR immediately. HR will in turn submit the incident report to worker's compensation and follow up with the employee and salon manager as needed pertaining to the case. Should the employee experience symptoms or physical ailments following the initial no matter the time frame, it should be reported to HR so the case can be updated. This is important when it comes to medical expenses being incurred by the employee due to the injury.
Employees and managers shall use this form to report all work related injuries, illnesses, or “near miss” events (which could have caused an injury or illness) – no matter how minor. This helps us to identify and correct hazards before they cause serious injuries. This form shall be completed by employees and supervisors as needed and corrective action should take place promptly to avoid future hazards when possible.
