PTO - Paid Time Off (All Employees)

PTO is awarded based on the number of hours worked. 

For years 0-2 of service - PTO accrual is .0334 hour per hour worked

For years 2-5 of service - PTO accrual is .0434 hour per hour worked

For years 5+ of services - PTO accrual is .0666 hour per hour worked 

For example: Hours worked in a Pay Period = 64

The calculation for an employee who has been employed 1.5 years would be: 

.0334 x 64 = 2.14 hours of PTO accrued for the pay period.

Carryover date: 

PTO carryover begins on employee's anniversary date. 

PTO Max Carryover amount: 

Minnesota/Arizona

Less than 2 years of employment = 48 hours

2 - 5 years of employment = 80 hours

5+ years of employment = 120 hours

California has no carryover limits 

PTO Max Accrual:

PTO is maxed out according to the following schedule: 

Minnesota/Arizona 

Less than 2 years of employment = 48 hours

2 - 5 years of employment = 80 hours

5+ years of employment = 120 hours
