Personality

Shōko's a very laid-back and nonchalant person, especially compared to Ijichi high-strung attitude and the overly playful Satoru. As a student alongside Gojō Satoru and Getō Suguru, she'd let the two fight and simply remove herself from the situation as it escalated. She enjoyed poking fun at them like when she called them both trash for Iori Utahime or when she took Satoru's sunglasses and wore them after he was punished by Yaga. Shōko didn't appear to take any situation very seriously in general back then. Shōko would openly smoke in public despite obviously being a high-schooler. Even after Suguru went rogue, Shōko was able to have a casual conversation with him about what he did. She was totally comfortable asking Suguru about the accusations and even called him childish for sulking because no one understands him. She even called Satoru to come to confront Suguru right in front of him without any fear for her own life. As the school doctor, Shōko appears to take her job seriously but she's very stoic. While Satoru was upset about Itadori Yūji's demise, Shōko kept her personal feelings out of the situation and only wanted to perform an autopsy, noting that Satoru was being more emotional than usual. Apparently, Shōko often gets nostalgic about her high school days and will decide to smoke a cigarette despite quitting the habit. Shōko remains composed out on the field and wasn't concerned about being discovered in Shibuya despite the danger of being a high-value target. She was fine being protected by a few of his cursed corpses, but she assured Yaga he didn't need to guard her personally.

(She'll genuinely get mad at you and put you in a headlock if she ever hears you saying that it's a huge ‘flaw’ because that’s fucking bullshit and something natural isn’t a flaw.) And proceeds to tell you to smack whoever the fuck said otherwise. Or call her if she needs to personally beat someone up.crush ▸ Drunken confessions make both of you realize how deep Shōko’s feelings run. Since she normally shoves aside having any social life for the sake of her work. Okay, Shōko's a mediator, not much can make her lose her composure and she seems to always be calm and collected no matter who is in front of her (cf volume 09 chapter 78 💀) She's not really jealous, or at least it takes her a lot to actually react. But I can totally see her getting behind you, sending a death glare at the person hitting on you. She'd judge the person according to what they're saying, eyeing them with suspicion. At this point, the person would start to feel slightly embarrassed. Good, that's what she wanted. She might pretend to approach you casually, smoking her cigarette, listening to you two and looking for an excuse to intrude. She'd totally take over the conversation, and maybe add some physical touch if she knows you're comfortable with it. Like, softly brushing a strand of your hair out of your face, making sure the person saw it. She'd manage to exclude the person from the discussion without you noticing and, at some point, they'd just leave without a word. You wouldn't even see it. Yeah, she's that sly.
